Students from the School of Basic & Applied Sciences visited the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Gurugram, as part of the Deeksharambh 2024–25 Student Induction Programme. The visit provided students with valuable insights into SCERT’s functioning and its role in educational research, curriculum development, and teacher training.
Coordinated by Dr. Pardeep Kumar and Ms. Sapna, the visit introduced students to various initiatives and programmes aimed at enhancing the quality of education in the state. Students explored different departments within SCERT and learned about curriculum development processes, educational research projects, and training programmes designed for in-service teachers. They also interacted with SCERT faculty and staff, discussing key challenges and emerging opportunities in the field of education. These interactions broadened their understanding of the education sector and highlighted the important role of research, innovation, and professional training in shaping effective educators and strengthening the education system.
