The Department of Student Welfare (DSW) is committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and student-friendly campus environment. It focuses on students’ academic, social, and personal well-being through cultural activities, workshops, awareness programmes, and student engagement initiatives.

The department also works closely with the Student Council and student bodies to encourage participation, leadership, and effective communication between students and the institution. Clubs and Societies

KRMU offers a vibrant campus life to students and faculty. From cultural events to scientific experiments, from robotic developments to artistic pursuits, students at KRMU maintain their enthusiasm and actively participate in a wide range of activities. The university supports more than thirteen clubs and societies, which are primarily run by students. These clubs and societies offer students a platform to showcase their talents and develop new skills while encouraging creative and out-of-the-box thinking. A wide range of activities is organised to help students develop new skills, nurture their talents, and pursue their interests beyond the classroom.

The K.R. Mangalam University Student Council serves as the representative body of the student community, acting as a vital link between students and the university administration. Working under the Department of Student Welfare, the Council advocates for student interests, addresses student concerns, and contributes to the development of a vibrant and inclusive campus environment. Through student engagement activities, the Council encourages active participation, leadership, teamwork, creativity, and democratic values. The Student Council strives to create a supportive, dynamic, and memorable university journey for all students.

The Department of Student Welfare ensures a safe, respectful, and student-friendly campus through its Student Grievance Handling system. It provides students with a fair and confidential platform to raise academic, administrative, personal, and campus-related concerns and seek timely support.

The department promotes open communication, transparency, and student well-being by addressing grievances with empathy and accountability. The system is primarily managed by the Student Success Manager of the University.

The university also follows a strict anti-ragging policy and is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and harassment-free environment for every student.
