The School of Agricultural Sciences (SOAS), Youth Red Cross Committee, KRMU, in collaboration with DPSRU, New Delhi, and Akshay Krishi Parivar, successfully organised the awareness programme “Bhumi Suposhan for One Health: A Health Awareness Initiative.”It focused on spreading awareness about the interconnection between soil health, food quality, biodiversity, and human well-being under the One Health approach. The programme provided students with valuable insights into sustainable agriculture, environmental responsibility, and practical solutions for maintaining soil health, helping them understand the real-world impact of agricultural practices on human and environmental well-being. Dr. Alok Kumar Gupta highlighted the importance of soil restoration and sustainable farming practices, while Dr. Parul Sharma emphasized the need to nurture soil for a healthier future. The event concluded with a collective pledge towards soil conservation and environmental sustainability, reinforcing the university’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and community well-being.
