Students of the School of Agricultural Sciences, in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sikohpur, organised a training programme in Lakhuwas village on “Crop Production Technology for Kharif Crops.” The programme aimed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and field-level agricultural practices by providing farmers with practical insights into the production and management of Kharif crops.
The training fostered meaningful interaction between agricultural students and local farmers, creating an environment for knowledge exchange and collaborative learning. The initiative also provided students with valuable field exposure while enabling farmers to gain insights into improved and sustainable crop-production practices.
Overall, the programme marked a significant step towards strengthening collaboration between the academic and farming communities and promoting sustainable agricultural practices in the region.
