Seminar on Gender Sensitisation

The School of Agricultural Sciences in collaboration with the Gender Sensitization and Safety Committee, KRMU, organised an insightful seminar on the theme “Understanding Gender: Breaking Stereotypes, Building Equality”. The seminar aimed to foster awareness and dialogue around gender equality and inclusivity within academic and social spaces. The seminar was graced by Dr. Shobhna Jeet, Associate Professor, School of Legal Studies (SOLS) and Chairperson of the Gender Sensitization and Safety Committee, who served as the resource person. Dr. Shobhna Jeet opened the session with a thought-provoking and engaging presentation that set the tone for the seminar, highlighting the importance of understanding gender beyond traditional norms and advocating for inclusive practices. The seminar proved to be a significant step towards building a more informed and inclusive academic environment, encouraging attendees to challenge stereotypes and contribute to gender equity.
