School of Journalism and Mass Communication organized an industry visit for students to News 24 Channel situated in Noida. The students of SJMC attended a Live Conclave hosted by News 24 and visited the Prime Time Studio, PCR Room, Radio Studio, and several regional channels of News 24. Moreover, students learnt about the importance of the room lighting and camera placement required for the setting. They were also shown the significance of a teleprompter which is required for the newsreader to present the news. Along with explaining the concepts of input and output, the students were also exposed to the working of both the Production Control Room (PCR) and Master Control Room (MCR).
