Industrial Visit to Medicamen Biotech Shivalik Rasayan

School of Medical & Allied Sciences (SMAS) visited Medicamen Biotech Shivalik Rasayan in Bhiwadi. The visit provided an in-depth exploration of the pharmaceutical manufacturing process. Students began by observing the production of solid dosage forms, such as capsules, tablets, and granules, understanding the technology and machinery involved. They then moved on to the liquid dosage forms section, where syrups, suspensions, and other liquid medications are produced, learning about formulation and scaling up production. A highlight of the visit was the Oncology Lab, where anti-cancer medicines are made, giving students insight into the life-saving production of cancer treatments. They also toured the Research & Development (R&D) Center and Wet Labs, gaining knowledge about the synthesis of new molecules.
