The School of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Sciences successfully organised an “Industrial Visit to Biomed Facility”. The visit took place at Biomed Facility, Nangli Sakrawati, Najafgarh, New Delhi. During the visit, students were introduced to the key aspects of biomedical equipment technology and its application in physiotherapy. They gained valuable insights into the functioning, maintenance, and safety protocols of electrotherapy and rehabilitation equipment. The team at Biomed Facility provided an overview of equipment calibration, repair processes, and quality assurance measures. This industrial visit served as a significant experiential learning opportunity, helping students bridge foundational theoretical knowledge with practical exposure to physiotherapy-related biomedical technology. Such initiatives foster technical understanding and prepare students for real-world clinical and technological integration in the field of physiotherapy.
