The School of Medical & Allied Sciences organised a field visit for first-year D.Pharm. students to Tau Devi Lal Biodiversity Park, Sector 56, Gurugram. The visit, titled “Exploring Nature’s Richness & Medicinal Plant Potential to Broaden Understanding of Pharmacognosy & Sustainable Healthcare Practices,” was designed to provide students with practical exposure to medicinal plants and strengthen their understanding of pharmacognosy. During the visit, students observed a diverse range of medicinal plants and learned about their significance in traditional medicine and their relevance to the pharmacognosy curriculum. The experiential learning activity helped students connect theoretical concepts with real-world observations and develop a deeper understanding of medicinal plant resources and sustainable healthcare practices.
