Now that the CUET 2024 results have been announced by the NTA, it’s time for universities to roll out their cut-offs and start the CUET counselling sessions. If you have taken this year’s CUET and are eagerly waiting for the counselling dates to be announced, then you’ve landed at the right place. In this blog, we’ll discuss everything about the upcoming CUET counselling sessions, the CUET cutoff for UG courses, and all the important upcoming dates. So buckle up, we’re diving straight in.
A CUET counselling session is the final step in onboarding new students. The sessions begin once the results have been announced and universities and colleges have come up with their selection and merit criteria. All the students who fulfil these criteria and lock their seats in their preferred universities and colleges are automatically eligible for the counselling sessions, and they can join their respective batches once they’ve successfully completed the entire process.
The dates for the CUET counselling sessions haven’t been announced yet. However, most of the universities, like DU, BHU, and K.R. Mangalam University, have already rolled out their registration forms, which will be closing very soon. Once the registration forms are closed, cut off and merit lists will be rolled out, followed by the conduct of the counselling sessions.
The preparation of CUET UG cut offs is a rather complex process that is completed by taking multiple aspects into account, including:
Once a university has evaluated all these aspects, it comes up with its first CUET cut off for UG courses and merit list for onboarding students.
The CUET 2024 examination was on the tougher side, as can be clearly seen in the CUET Results Analysis. The number of students scoring the highest marks in different subjects dropped significantly, and for that reason, the cut-offs are expected to be quite high this year. It’s very likely that many aspirants might not get a chance to get admission to their preferred university or course.
However, you must not lose hope, as it’s not the only way to pursue your dream career. You can always look out for equally good options like K.R. Mangalam University, which offers world-class infrastructure, the best faculty, an optimal learning environment, and the best on-campus placements in a bunch of domains of your choice.
The eligibility criteria to get enrolled at K.R. Mangalam University can vary depending on the course you choose and the nature and requirements of the courses. However, the admissions process is pretty much the same as at other universities.
Here’s how to get enrolled in K.R. Mangalam University:
It’s high time that CUET aspirants start tracking the cut off and related updates on their preferred university’s official portals. Remember, once you get a shortlist from a university, you must freeze your seat within the provided time frame, or you will lose your candidature.

As of now, none of the universities have released their cut-off lists. For now, the universities have opened their registration portals, and once they’re closed, we can expect the cut-off lists to roll out. To participate in the CUET counselling sessions, you need to fill out the registration cum counselling form for your preferred niversity. Once the cut-off and merit lists are out, you’ll be called in for the counselling session by the universities and colleges upon clearing their cut-offs.
The CUET results were declared on July 28, followed by the release of registration forms of the major central universities. None of the universities have yet announced their cut-off release dates; however, the cut-offs and merit lists can be expected in the first two weeks after the registration portals have been closed.
A total of over 268 universities will be participating in the CUET counselling session this year. These universities include 49 central universities, 39 state universities, over 150 private universities, 10 government institutions, and 20 deemed universities. Following are all the documents you must carry once you’ve been called in for a counselling session:
